WHAT WE BELIEVE

SCRIPTURE, HUMANITY AND GOD

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” (2 Corinthians 3:16-17 nasa).

God’s Word Is Truth Itself (John 17:17) and His Word Is Spirit and Life (John 6:63) and exists beyond the world and holds all things including The Scriptures together (Hebrews 1:3) which are the written form of His Spiritual Word. Only the 66 books of the Bible are Scripture in their original format, but we have a tremendously accurate document (well over 99%) and God Guides a person into all Truth through The Holy Spirit (John 16:13).

In regards to God, God Is Love (1 John 4:8) as Three Parts of One Being as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Luke 3:22) and therein Jesus Who Is God Is The Truth Itself and Is The Life and The Way (John 14:6). When Adam and eve sinned, they separated the world from God (Romans 8:20-22), but just as sin entered through one man, (Romans 5:12) salvation comes through The one Jesus Christ (Romans 5:15) Who came down in the likeness of sinful flesh (Romans 8:3) for those who believe Him (John 3:16).Since everyone has sinned and fallen short of The Glory Of God, (Romans 3:23) and the wages of sin is death, (Romans 6:23) everyone deserves to die and everyone needs a savior. This Savior Is Jesus Alone Who Is The Truth Itself (Aletheia) “reality, or truth even of idea,” The Life and The Way (John 14:6), and there is salvation in no other name (Acts 4:12).

SALVATION THROUGH JESUS ONLY

Jesus Who Is The Son Of God As God, (John 1:1; 1:14), Who Is Perfect Love, and Perfect Love Casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), came down in the likeness of human flesh (Romans 8:3) by being born of the virgin Mary, (Luke 1:30-31, 2:7) after He Was Conceived by The Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35). He lived a perfectly sinless life though wherein He always did The Will Of His Father (John 8:29) and he was never violent, nor was there any deceit in His Mouth (Isaiah 53:9). With this said He performed works that only He can do, which testify about Him (John 5:36) as have been written, and then He died on the cross for the sins of the world wherein He became a sin offering for the entire world (Romans 8:3). As Isaiah 53 nasb prophesied almost 700 years before in verses 5 and 6:

But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,
And by His scourging we are healed.

      All of us like sheep have gone astray,
Each of us has turned to his own way;
But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all
To fall on Him.

The Father sent His Only Begotten Son Jesus into the world because He So loved the world as John 3:16 states, wherein whoever believes (pisteuo) (to be persuaded or entrust one’s self), to Jesus shall not perish but have everlasting life. In order for a person to be saved, one has to believe in Him and therein receive Him (John 1:12) and It Is The Father Who Draws a person (John 6:44) and The Holy Spirit Testifies of Him (John 15:26). In order for a person to come after Jesus, they need to deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Him (Mark 8:34). The choice is objective of either God or the world (Mark 8:36-37, Matthew 6:19-24) and the world has no value because God Is The Glory (Doxa) “the intrinsic weight of value”(Romans 1:23) As The Life and Truth (John 14:6) Who holds it together (Hebrews 1:3). He Who has The Son has The Life and He Who Does not have The Son Of God, does not have the Life (1 John 5:12).

BELIEVERS ARE EMPOWERED TO LIVE BY FAITH

Once a person chooses Jesus and is saved, they are sealed with The Holy Spirit of promise (Ephesians 1:13) as prophesied in Joel 2:28-29, which is a pledge of their inheritance until God’s Redemption of believers on the last day (Ephesians 1:14). A believer via The Holy Spirit is empowered to live out their life with The Life of God in them (John 6:63), wherein one’s old self was crucified with Christ along with its passions and desires (Galatians 5:24), and a believer is a new creation, remade by God via His Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:17). Therein, The Light of The Glory Of God in the face of Christ shines forth in a believer’s heart as 2 Corinthians 4:6 states in The Holy Spirit living in a believer.

A believer is now free from sin since their old self was crucified with Him and a believer has died with Christ and is alive to God (Romans 6:6-7), and if they choose to consider their members dead to sin (Romans 6:11) they are able to be free from it as it will not be master over a believer (Romans 6:14). Sanctification (holiness) comes by The Truth and God’s Word Is Truth (John 17:17). All the works that a believer does have been ordained by God in advance that they should walk in them since we are his workmanship (Ephesians 2:10), and on one the last day Jesus will resurrect all believers to be with Him for eternity (John 6:40). Unbelievers by contrast will come to a resurrection of eternal condemnation where they will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15).
